Botanical Additives/Extracts

We use organically grown Aloe Vera in our products. Aloe Vera is beneficial because it contains numerous vitamins and minerals and has anti-inflammatory, cell-renewing, moisturizing, wound and burn healing properties.

Our certified organic Olive leaf extract is derived from the leaves of the Olive tree and is beneficial to the skin because it has constituents that offer antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties.

Rosemary Extract has potent anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and anti-oxidant properties. It is used as a natural preservative in our products.

The certified organic Pumpkin Seed Extract in our products is obtained from Cucurbita pepo (pumpkin) seeds. Pumpkin seed extract has anti-oxidant properties and is helpful in combatting fine lines and dryness. It is high in protein, Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids, Vitamins A, C, E and zinc.

Our certified organic Calendula extract is obtained from calendula flowers. Calendula flower extract has anti-inflammatory and moisturizing properties and assists in soothing skin inflammation and healing burns and wounds.

Our certified organic hibiscus extract is obtained from Hibiscus sabdariffa flowers. Hibiscus flowers are a natural source of alpha-hydroxy acids and anti-oxidants that help to rejuvenate the skin and maintain its elasticity.

The certified organic Helichrysum Extract in our products is extracted from the flowers of Helichrysum stoechas. Hibiscus flowers have anti-oxidant and elastin degradation inhibiting properties which help to maintain the skin's elasticity.

Our certified organic chamomile extract is obtained from Matricaria Recutita flowers. Chamomile extract has anti-inflammatory properties and is helpful in healing sun damaged skin.

Our certified organic green tea extract is obtained from Camellia Sinensis leaves. Green tea extract is rich in polyphenols which have anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant effects on the skin. Polyphenols are also helpful in slowing down the degradation of collagen in the skin.
